Woke up early on Valentine's Day to meet my boy for Mac Breakfast.
Exchanged cards after breakfast, technically, he only gave me one of three cards that he prepared. He said the cards will be given as the day goes by.
After exchanging of cards, I took out his 'gift'.
Baked the oreo cheesecake a day before V day. Didnt turn out as fantastic as I wished it did but it wasn't too bad for a first-timer i guess? Need to think of how to improve on this recipe!
We headed to Cathay, Metallurgy after this only to find it wasn't open for business yet.
But, the lady came in a couple of minutes after we arrived and coincidentally, it was the same lady who served us last year when we went to get our ring on our advanced V-day celebration.
We tried about 5 pairs of rings because we finally made a choice, and coincidentally or should I say luckily, the guy's design has a size 13 which is perfect for the boy.
Why luckily? Usually the smallest size available for the guy's design of couple rings are size 15 which is one size too big ( FAR too big that it slips) for his ring finger.
According to the lady who served us,
这是长久戒,因为里面藏了九个‘石头’。
这也代表着长长久久!
The next stop after this was to the Kbox at Marina Square for a 3 hours singing session.
Fumbled for a while in the beginning because they have a new system which neither of us know about. Yes, too long since we last went to Kbox cause we patronize KTV instead:)
He handed me a second card in the Kbox, and suddenly it felt like we were playing some game and he is the game master. I know, my fantastic imagination!
After 3 hours of singing, it was time for.....FOOD!
Dear refuse to tell me where he was bringing me/us for dinner.
Oh yes, the programme for the entire day was planned solely by the boy himself, very proud of him and the effort put in:)
Ichiban Sushi. If I patronize this place a few more times, I would be a convert, trust me.
The food is THAT good. Or maybe, I'm too hungry, hahaha..
The last stop of the day was one out of my expectations, VERY OUT to be honest.
Up at the Singapore Flyer:)
We got into a capsule with quite a lot of people, not very peaceful but we were still happy to have each other's company while enjoying the night scenery from up above!
And he handed me the final card of the day to mark the end of our journey for the day, and somehow, it made me teared really badly.
To be honest, I don't know if it was purely the content of the card or the effort put in for the entire day that moved me to tears but yah, I was on the brink of tears.
Dear boy, thanks for all the effort that I put into to make this day surprising and fun for me, for us. I really appreciate everything that you have done and every word you have said, no matter verbal or written. I love you<3

The past week has a been a really happy for me!
Monday was supposed to be spent with my boy and his friend. However, due to some plans that his friend made, I decided not to go in the end. Guess it was a bad start to the week but Sis saved the day! I was ranting to Sis about how frustrated I was with the whole issue and she told me to meet her for dinner and retail therapy instead!
Been a long time since we last had such a session together.
Talked, chatted, bitched, gossiped, laughed, splurged, ate.
You name it, we had it:)
Tuesday- Thursday was mostly spent preoccupied with School/Project work.
However, I managed to sneak a little fun amidst all the work!
Met Leow for project work in town on Wednesday and we went for a nails session.
Wednesday night was spent with my parents, dear and sis and it ended with a gambling session:)
Met up with Joanne for a drink/dinner at Beer Market on Thursday. I can't even remember when was the last time I was out with her alone, just having a chat and catch up on how each other is doing.
And of course, I forced her to take photos with me even though she was grumbling a lot, A LOT.
And that how I discovered my favourite drink:)
Friday night was with her too, meant to be just a dinner but we ended up heading to 2AM Dessert Bar and having a drink as well!
The whole of Saturday was devoted to my boy, breakfast, bai-nian to his extended families, had dinner at his aunt's place and had some red wine. Yes, I drank again, third night in a row, probably thought I was turning alcoholic, haha!
Today was just a lazy day spent lazing at home with my boy, watching show and sleeping~
How can I not be happy when all I have done this week is spending time with my boyfriend, my parents and meeting & catching up with close friends?
Simple bliss like this makes me happy!
Really looking forward to more of these things once School is out but the thought of working full time soon......
Well, shall enjoy the happiness while it lasts and pray for the best for the unknown!
