Oh yeaaaaaaaaa~ ECH Batch 2012 has finally graduated!
It has been an exciting week, starting with Graduation on Tuesday and Prom on Thursday Night!
Cut to the chase, yes, we have survived 3 years of poly life, projects, morning lessons, boring lectures, piles of assignments, fights, tears, laughter! And we couldn't have done this without friends who stood by our side and fought the fight together with us.
Thanks Leow, for being the one who stood by all the way from Year 1 till Year 3, through all the projects, stress, arguments and laughters. Poly life would be different without you, without a close friend whom I could confide in, thank you for playing a part in these 3 years and may our friendship go way beyond...
I got close to this group of classmates/friends in Year 3, almost the end of Year 3 I would say. Its a regret that we took so long to be close but better late than never, right? And yes, poly life would be mundane without the classmates that I have, all of them. Each one of them add a little spice and laughter here and there in one way or another. So thanks for being a part of T01, a part of my poly memories and may more memories be made even after we have parted way...
And yes, that's me! A shot taken by Matthew after I walked out from the hall. I thought it was a professional photographer, hence the bright smile and all. And when I realized it was Matthew, I think I did the loudest scream/shriek that I ever did in like what, 3 months? Although Matt left the class at the end of Year 1, but he has never left us truly. He was part of the memories that I had of T01 and I guess, would always be. Thanks for making the effort to come down and witness our Graduation, my friend!
From left to right, top to bottom:
Thanks Yi, for renting the gown, sharing the gown and returning the gown, haha! Thanks for being my gym partner, for reading all my ranting texts, for sharing with me your life. Most of all, thanks for making the effort to come all the way down from your place just because I was grumbling the day before that I have never taken a photo with you. You really showed me the effort one would make for a friend! Thanks for being a close friend who speaks to me with honesty and being someone I can confide in.
For these 3 years,  Dina and I had maintained more of a Hi-Bye friendship. But on the day of graduation, when we met each other at the busstop in the morning, I was glad to find that we could still speak with ease, just like how it was for us three years back when we were still in Gessband together. Thanks for all the memories as a classmate and band mate in Secondary school!
WingSze, Pamela and PeiQi are those few that I have never expected to know, especially not after I have graduated. Throughout the three years, we have barely talked or maybe, we didn't even know of each other's names or existence. But its amazing how I got to know WingSze, Pam and Eileen during Enculturation training from work and we started talking and know more about each other lives. We may not be close friends as of yet, but at least we are friends who will always be eager to meet each other at company's events.
Its funny how Pei Qi and I somehow got into the same working environment and confide quite a bit to each other. From strangers to colleagues to friends. What a big transition! But nonetheless, a transition that I was glad happened in my life. She has made working life better simply because I have someone who understands, who listens, who encourages. Thank you all you amazing friends, for showing me how surprising life can be!
Even though Dear couldn't make it for the ceremony, he still rushed over after that to help me take photos and all. Thanks for making the effort to come down and running around with us just to help me take photos with my fellow friends and lecturers. Every time I look at this shot, I feel this unspeakable relief and joy that Leow and Dear could get along so well. Im thankful for the friendship that was forged between the both of them and the comfort it brings to them as well as myself, even though it has only been a short while. And Dear, thanks for the listening ear, the shoulder to lean and the arms to hold me when I need them. Although we only got together halfway during my poly life, I'm still glad you were there to walk this journey with me. Now that you are the one walking this journey, I hope to offer the same support and love as I walk along with you!

Polaroids taken with Family. Invited Jiejie and Ken Jiefu along for the ceremony. So glad that one of my closest cousin got to witness the ceremony, and its a bonus that she is someone who understands the struggles and hardship, joy and laughter from this course. Thank you for taking the time out to attend the ceremony:)

Finally, the exciting part, PROM NIGHT!
Did my own makeup and hair this year. Yes, my hair is at a very weird length now, not too short that nothing can be done but not long enough for much to be done as well. So whatever I did for my hair, it was more of a last minute and random thing.

Head down to Raffles City to meet Jo and Leow first because they weren't done with their makeup. We were supposed to meet the rest at 6.30pm cause Prom starts at 7.30pm and guess what time did we reach the venue? 7.30pm! Haha, awesome or what? Their makeup artist kept reassuring us its okay to be late for prom!
Amazingly, my table was just right beside Peiqi's!
Yes, finally a proper shot of the 4 of us. Only managed to take photos with Pam and Wing Sze on Grad Day cause I couldn't locate Eileen after the ceremony!
And of course, a photo with the amazing babes from T01, how could I miss that? Sadly, the two boys were missing from the photo cause they were the ones taking it! Or else it would be a perfect shot already!
I was thinking in Year 1, how would I survive these 3 years, what would the people be like, what would these 3 years be like and ZOOOOM, here we are, at the end of everything..
But no, its not the end, it's only the beginning....

Happy Graduation Everyone, We have made it till the very end, together!
Cry, celebrate and most importantly, don't forget each other!!!
